Q. Is there a charge for me to use quirkyshops.com?
No. You are free to browse and locate your favourite shops for zero cost. Should you purchase any goods or services from any of the shops listed, then obviously a fee will apply that you are to pay direct to the shop using the standard checkout procedures on their web-site.
Wouldn't it be lovely if everything was free, but unfortunately as good as we are, we cannot persuade the shops to give away all their items for nothing!
Q. I have found my perfect Quirky item. How do I place an order?
Great, so you have located a super quirky item featured in one of the many shops. Each store uses a different mechanism for placing orders but most are very similar and simple to follow. It usually involves adding the item(s) to a 'Basket' or 'Cart' then completing the order by entering your payment details and delivery address.
Thankfully, there is no rocket science involved here. It's as easy as peas!
Q. Where are the shops based? Can they ship me an item overseas?
QuirkyShops is a UK based web-site and therefore the majority of the shops we feature are situated in the UK. However, there are some that are based in the US and we expect the number of overseas shops we feature to expand over the coming years.
The good news is that a lot of the shops we list already have the facility to ship items to most parts of the world. Please check with the shop you wish to purchase from to be sure they can deliver to you and also to find out what the shipping costs will be.
Q. What Payment Types are Acceptable?
This depends upon the store you are shopping at but most accept the usual payment types like Paypal, Credit/Debit Card etc. Please check with the shop that you are looking to purchase from for a full list of acceptable payment types.
Q. How do I return a product and/or report a problem with an item I have purchased?
You will need to make direct contact with the company you purchased the item from. Hopefully your invoice/receipt of purchase will provide details of how to arrange a return or report a faulty item. If not, then please check on the seller's web-site for instructions.

Q. How do I know what size to order?
As you know most countries use standard sizing for clothing and shoes. However, there may be some slight variation between shops as I am sure you have already experienced when shopping in high street stores.
The vast majority of stores on quirky shops have a sizing guide to help you find the perfect size, so it's probably a good idea to check the guide out before placing your order. Saves you the 'hassle' of returning items simply because the size is not quite right!
Q. Why can't I find the product you show in the image when I visit the shop?
The images we have used represent products that were available in the shop at the time it was added to our directory. The availability of these products is subject to change as shops regularly update their stock inline with fashion trends, seasons etc.
Therefore, please view the image as a guide of the type of product you are likely to find in a particular shop.
